How much for your daughter?
(Synopsis)

Behind the sensational headlines of post-Soviet geopolitics and war in Southern Ukraine the sufferings of ordinary people continue to play out in an age-old dance of desperation and corruption. In a rural backwater Tatjiana, an exceptional 14 year old ballet student, works her heart out to earn a scholarship to the National Dance Academy. She has no idea that deals are being made to sell her to the unrelenting sex markets of the West.

The human traffickers blend in casually with their own families and childhood friends, well-versed in targeting the unsuspecting. But a kind word and a hand up are the folksy veneer on a multi-billion dollar business fueled by high end consumers with absolutely no regard for the humanity ravaged along the way.

It’s a story of cynical greed bent on crushing an innocent girl’s dream… and a story of a tender love that could save her from an inevitable prospect.
